Uncertainty Is Good For The Soul
Living A Rollercoaster Life Builds You Up

Human Nature
As humans, we are creatures of habit. We love routine and consistency, this is hard-wired into our brains. We tend to seek things within our comfort zone as we love what is comfortable and safe.
When we are about to embark on something new, it feels scary. This is because it triggers our fight or flight receptors which make us think that we need to be afraid and retreat. Again this is part of our Human nature. From the beginning of human existence, when we had to fight for survival, we were cautious of situations that may put us in harm's way. Anything that felt uncomfortable needed to be faced with caution.
Adapting and Evolving
However, in our 21st-century world, the things that will encourage our growth and expansion are the things that make us feel uncomfortable. They are the things that push us away from comfort and towards fear, doubt, and uncertainty.
We wouldn't have progressed with technology and modern-day life as we know it had some people not pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and dared to think the unthinkable. When we look around at the world, everything that we see was created by someone who was not afraid to have a vision.
Change doesn't have to be extreme. It doesn't necessarily require a huge transformation but implementing small changes and constant learning in our lives allows us to continually grow and create opportunities for ourselves.
That’s why checking in with yourself on a regular basis is always useful.
You should ask yourself:
- What have I always wanted to do, but am scared to do it?
- What areas of my life have become too comfortable?
- Am I satisfied with where I currently am in life?
- What small changes can I implement to make life exciting?
Unforeseen Growth
Often change is thrust upon us without any warning and we are forced to play with the cards we have been dealt. Unfortunate circumstances occur in life and that is when the most growth happens.
